This is your chance to see the Turner Prize 2026 Exhibition at MIMA, Middlesbrough Institute of Modern Art before it opens to the general public. You will be taken on a tour around the exhibition by one of our curators and be one of the first groups of people to see the art work. 

The exhibition will showcase the work of four shortlisted artists: Simeon Barclay, Kira Freije, Marguerite Humeau and Tanoa Sasraku.

This event marks the first time the Turner Prize exhibition has been held in a university setting, bringing contemporary art to a broader audience

• Event Date: Friday 25th September
• Event Timings: 13:45 (meet at SU to walk to MIMA) - Exhibition runs 2pm - 3pm
• Event Location: SU then to MIMA
• Ticket Price: Free (40 spaces available)
