ABOUT THE REPS
At Teesside University Students’ Union, we have two types of Reps, Course Representatives and School Representatives. A Course Rep is a student on your course elected by their peers to make changes on behalf of students. They listen to your positive comments and concerns, gather your feedback relating to your academic experience, and represent your views in important discussions with academic staff.
School Reps are teams of students who gather school-wide feedback, they work with senior staff in the school regularly. Your school reps can also present your feedback to senior staff members at the university. School Representatives conduct regular drop-in sessions and engagement stalls on campus and online. You can reach out to your School Reps via email with your feedback or arrange a meeting at a time that works best for you.
Your School and Course Representatives are here to ensure your voices are heard. They represent your views and aim to improve your student experience here at Teesside. If you have any questions about your reps, please email representation@tees-su.org.uk.
UPDATE FROM THE REPS
We can hardly believe that semester 1 is almost over! It has been a pleasure meeting all of you during our face-to-face and online drop-in sessions. Thank you for sharing your feedback; we truly could not enhance the experience without your insights.
We are thrilled to have welcomed over 400 new and returning Course Representatives to our team, and we eagerly anticipate the arrival of those who will join us in January.
We will continue to offer sessions for you to connect with us online and on the main campus until the winter break. If you are unable to attend any of these sessions, feel free to email: representation@tees-su.org.uk, and the appropriate School Rep team will respond.
Wishing you all a wonderful break! Remember to take some time for yourself. Merry Christmas to everyone who celebrates it, and a Happy New Year to one and all!
We look forward to seeing you in 2025!
