ABOUT THE REPS
At Teesside University Students’ Union, we have two types of Reps, Course Representatives and School Representatives. A Course Rep is a student on your course elected by their peers to make changes on behalf of students. They listen to your positive comments and concerns, gather your feedback relating to your academic experience, and represent your views in important discussions with academic staff.
School Reps are teams of students who gather school-wide feedback, they work with senior staff in the school regularly. Your school reps can also present your feedback to senior staff members at the university. School Representatives conduct regular drop-in sessions and engagement stalls on campus and online. You can reach out to your School Reps via email with your feedback or arrange a meeting at a time that works best for you.
Your School and Course Representatives are here to ensure your voices are heard. They represent your views and aim to improve your student experience here at Teesside. If you have any questions about your reps, please email representation@tees-su.org.uk.
UPDATE FROM THE REPS
Hello from your School Representatives! We trust that everyone is adjusting well to the new semester. It has been wonderful to connect with some of you already and to gather your feedback during our on campus and online sessions.
We have been collaborating with our staff to ensure that your feedback reaches the appropriate departments. Discussions have taken place regarding issues related to policy changes, communications, and accessibility. Additionally, we have engaged with school staff teams to address matters concerning personal tutors, timetabling, student engagement, and facilities. Ongoing discussions are in progress, and we will keep you all informed about the outcomes shortly.
We are eager to connect with more of you, so we invite you to join our on-campus and online sessions. We will be hosting at least one session each week until the semester concludes. For further details and booking information, please visit the SU website. If you have any questions or need assistance on how to reach us, feel free to email representation@tees-su.org.uk, and we will gladly help you.
