Communities are groups of students brought together by a shared characteristic, passion, interest, skill, course, subject, cohort, placement, hobby, faith, or other shared identity.
They are a place to meet like-minded students, make new friendships, organise activities, and take action on issues that matter to you.
To have a community listed on our website, complete the new community form. As long as your community is different to our current communities and does not cause reputational issues, it can be added.
Community Organisers are members who help bring their community to life by organising meetings, events, workshops, campaigns, stalls, fundraisers, recruitment drives, worship, training, and more.
To become an organiser, you’ll need to complete a simple application, attend an induction, and complete a few online training modules depending on what you want to do.
Our Communities Coordinators will then support you to activate and develop your community.
