  • GET YOUR EVENT BAND EARLY!!

    You will need to scan your e-ticket to collect your event wristband – This can be done at the SU Welcome Desk between 12.00noon and 3.30 pm on the day from the SU Welcome Desk or by taking your ticket to the “Wristband Exchange Tent” upon arrival at the Summer Sendoff between 4 pm and 9.30 pm. If you don’t have your ticket by 9.30 pm, then you will need to wait until 10.00 pm and head to the SU Welcome Desk, but by that time, you will have missed most of the Fun.

  • Food Vouchers and Wristbands

    If you have a free entry ticket, staff and associate ticket or guest ticket, then you can collect your wristband from 12 noon; however, you will not receive your food voucher until you collect it from the welcome point on campus heart at 4 pm. This voucher can ONLY be redeemed in the Terrace, First Floor Students’ Union and is only for the Student tickets If you have a paid ticket which includes a guaranteed meal voucher, then you will receive your food voucher at the point you collect your wristband whether this is at 12 noon from the SU welcome desk or 4 pm from the welcome point on campus heart.

  • WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING TO THE SUMMER SEND OFF? DO I NEED I.D.?

    You will need your e-ticket or event band and your TUSC (Teesside University Student Card) or ID. All persons attending the event will be expected to bring a PASS-approved ID card, driving licence or passport as proof of age. We will be asking for ID at all bars, so if you are asked for ID but can’t produce it, you won’t be served!

  • Cloakroom

    We don’t want you to leave any valuables or personal belongings unattended. The cloakroom will be open from 4 pm, charging £1.50/bag & £1/any other item. You can return to your items as many times as you like.

  • Food

    Hot food will be available from 4 pm till 9.00 pm from the SU Terrace and from traders outside the SU. The first 400 people to enter with a standard ticket will get a free voucher to redeem in the Terrace or SU shop as part of the ticket price! Everyone else can purchase food if they wish from the vendors outside. Check out what’s on and where using the site map!

  • Will It Get Cold?

    We can’t control the weather so bring yourself something warm and leave it in the cloakroom for later when you feel the chill.

  • First Aid

    Take care of yourself! If you need medical attention throughout the day for any reason, we have a dedicated team of first aiders on site. They can be found in SUSS on the first floor of the Students' Union.

  • SU Fences

    They’re not just for show! We must control entry for the safety of everybody. Anybody caught trying to get on site using anything other than the designated entrance will have their wristband removed and be asked to leave. There is one main gate for entry to and exit from the event. You’ll find it in Campus Heart.

  • Attractions Cost?

  • We’ve included them in your ticket price for the day because we're lovely, lovely people.

  • SHOULD I DRINK BEFORE THE EVENT?

    This is entirely up to you, but we will not allow anyone into the event who is intoxicated, so our advice is not to pre-drink. Drinks prices are very reasonable, with a selection of pints, bottles, and spirits with mixers starting from £2.50 all day and night.

  • WILL YOU BE SEARCHING ON THE GATE?

    Yes, the security team will be overseeing searches to ensure illegal drugs, weapons and alcohol do not enter the event. If you are in possession of illegal drugs, the on-site police team may arrest you.

  • CAN I BRING ALCOHOL TO THE EVENT?

    No, containers with ANY liquid won’t be allowed in.

  • CAN I GET A REFUND?

    Sorry, we do not refund event tickets. If you really can’t make it, why not gift it to a friend?

  • WHEN DOES THE EVENT START?

    Event: 4.00 pm – Late
  • Outside Attractions: 4.00 pm - 10.00 pm
  • Rides: 4.00 pm – Late
  • The Terrace Bar: 12.00 onwards with DJs from 6 pm til late

  • Local Residents

    We’ve got local residents surrounding the campus, so try not to be a nuisance. It may be your last night at Teesside, but we don’t want it to cause an issue with our neighbours, so please keep it down as you leave.

  • Right to Refuse Admission

    We reserve the right to refuse entry to or to remove from the venue any persons who are drunk or disorderly or whose conduct is unlawful or offensive. Anyone who refuses a request for a search is found or suspected of possessing illegal drugs, alcohol or weapons or who is not entitled to attend the event will also be removed. Any person who causes a disturbance or who refuses to comply with reasonable requests from venue management may be asked to leave. We will not refund the cost of entry in any such case.

  • DrinkAware

    Please keep hydrated with plenty of water and do not drink to excess.
