The Teesside University Debating Society aims to provide an opportunity for students to develop their rhetorical, critical thinking and public speaking capabilities with a sharp focus on mutual respect and civility. Structured, highly developed debates will be held on topics ranging from philosophy to politics, religion to culture, science to literature and everything in between.
