Nightline

What is Nightline and when is it available?

Nightline is a confidential, anonymous listening service provided by students, for students. Nightline is there when students need someone to talk to. Whether they're feeling lonely, stressed about exams or assignment deadlines, have post break-up blues, family issues or just want someone to listen.

The service is available between 8pm and 7am on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 1st February 2019.

Why are we launching Nightline?

For most students their time at university is a positive experience however for some it can be characterised by periods of stress, anxiety, loneliness and depression. Rising fees, academic pressures and concerns about employability can also impact on student mental wellbeing. Nightline offers students a safe space to talk about their feelings or whatever's troubling them without fear of being judged or ridiculed.
